Fatty Liver Dissolver
Watermelon is a superb fatty liver dissolver and cleanser. It helps the liver process ammonia and eliminate excess fatty waste. Many friends and students have reversed severe fatty liver problems by following this watermelon juice method for 30 days.
I have personal experience with this watermelon juice method, having lived on 99% watermelon juice for six months. Yes, you read that right—six months. Apart from the juice, I only drank a little water to rinse my mouth and occasionally ate watermelon slices. During this period, I experienced no fatigue or tiredness. After my meditation and yoga, my daily routine involved:
- Running 3 to 5 km for 4 to 5 days a week
- Working out for 2 hours daily in the gym
- Getting good sleep of no more than 4 to 5 hours daily
The decision to watermelon juice fast was spontaneous one day. Towards the end of April, I felt no need to eat more solid food. There was a ripe green watermelon, and I decided to juice it fully—with the rind, seeds, and red fleshy pulp. I drank that juice throughout the day and felt a sensation of lightness. This feeling was so good that I continued the fast for another day and then another. Finally, I decided to test how long my body could sustain itself on this watermelon juice and continued the fast for around six months. I had to end the six-month fast because the watermelon season was over.
More recently, my friend, a lawyer, tried this "30-day watermelon juice fast" after being diagnosed with fatty liver and given a prescription to take two drugs for the next two years. The agony of taking medications for two years compared to a healthier alternative helped him decide on the juice fast route. Initially, he was skeptical about whether he would complete this challenge, but he persisted nevertheless.
